DeSantis: $311M in grant awards to improve Fla. infrastructure in 37 communities

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis announced $311 million in awards allotted to improve infrastructure in 37 Sunshine State communities, including 32 awards to rural counties and small cities.

Dept. of Labor: U.S. unemployment claims drop, remaining in ‘healthy’ range

The number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits declined last week, remaining within the historically low levels seen since the COVID-19 pandemic, economists say.
