Report: DOJ determined drug boat strikes are legal under U.S. and international law in classified memo

In a classified memo, the Justice Department Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) advised the Pentagon that strikes on suspected drug trafficking boats are legal under both U.S. and international law.

Australia to recognize Palestinian state at UN General Assembly, joining other countries

On Monday, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that Australia will officially recognize a Palestinian state in September, joining a growing number of foreign nations opposing Israel’s military response to the abducted hostages being held in Gaza by Hamas.
