Trump Backs Waltz After Accidental Yemen Operation Leak

President Donald Trump stood by and supported National Security Adviser Mike Waltz on Tuesday, just a day after it came to light that he accidentally brought in the Atlantic magazine’s editor-in-chief on deliberations discussing striking the Houthis earlier this month in Yemen.

On Saturday, President Donald Trump ordered a series of airstrikes within Yemen, targeting Houthi-controlled areas in response to the terror groups attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea.

The U.S. State Department, under the Trump administration, designated the Yemen-based Houthis as an official Foreign Terrorist Organization on Tuesday.
