President Donald Trump unveiled his budget request for fiscal year 2026, proposing drastic cuts amounting to $163 billion in foreign aid, energy and environmental protection, and education — while raising defense spending to over $1 trillion.

House Republicans Approve Bill Requiring Proof Of Citizenship To Vote

For a second time, House Republicans have passed a bill that will require voters to have proof of citizenship in order to vote in federal elections. The previous attempt was blocked by the then-Democrat-led Senate.
