Mike Johnson Says House Will File Lawsuit Against DOJ Next Week For Biden-Hur Audio Tapes

The House Judiciary Committee intends to file a lawsuit, according to Speaker Mike Johnson, in order to forcibly prompt Attorney General Merrick Garland to produce the audio recordings of President Joe Biden’s meeting with special counsel Robert Hur.

The House Judiciary Committee recommended that President Joe Biden’s ghostwriter be charged with contempt of Congress after it was discovered by federal investigators that the former vice president had given the writer access to classified material.

Biden Invokes Exec. Privilege On Special Counsel Hur Recordings Following GOP Request For Its Release

President Joe Biden is asserting his executive privilege by blocking House Republicans from receiving the audio files of his two-day interview with special counsel Robert Hur, which was part of the investigation into Biden’s mishandling of classified documents.
