Texas military base houses 10K Afghan evacuees

According to officials, roughly 10,000 Afghan evacuees are being housed at Texas military base Fort Bliss. In just 15 days the base was transformed into a temporary refugee village providing services like medical care, catering and transportation.

Biden admin. welcomes press to Texas Afghan evacuee camp

The press have gotten a first look at a military base where the Biden administration has housed evacuees who were airlifted out of Afghanistan. On Friday, military officials gave a tour to several reporters of the Fort Bliss Army Base in El Paso, Texas, which has been processing and housing Afghan evacuees.
