A federal judge blocked California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom’s anti-deepfake legislation on Wednesday, which sought to criminalize digitally-altered political images and videos 60 days before an election.

Judge Sets Ryan Wesley Routh Trial Date 2 Weeks After Presidential Election

Nearly two weeks after the U.S. presidential election on November 5th, a South Florida federal judge ordered failed Donald Trump assassin Ryan Wesley Routh to stand trial on charges of attempting to murder the former president.

Judge Orders Suspect In Second Trump Assassination Attempt To Remain In Custody Prior To Trial

Federal Judge Ryon McCabe ordered Ryan Routh, the second man who has attempted to carry out an assassination against former President Donald Trump, to remain in custody prior to his trial.

Alaska Man Indicted For Threatening To Assassinate 6 Supreme Court Justices

An Alaska man has been indicted for allegedly making serious threats against six members of the Supreme Court, according to the Justice Department (DOJ), which included threats of assassinating the justices.

DOJ Backs Boeing Plea Deal Despite Opposition from Victims’ Families

The Justice Department is now facing backlash from the families of the Boeing 737 Max crash victims over a criminal plea deal the DOJ proposed on Wednesday.
