FDA Recalls Nearly 80,000 Lbs Of Costco Butter, Citing ‘Milk Allergen’ Info Missing From Label

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) required Costco to recall 79,200 pounds of butter for failing to label that the product “contains milk.”

CDC: 1 Dead, 49 Falls Ill Following E. Coli Outbreak Linked To McDonald’s Quarter Pounder 

The United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a food safety alert after one person died and 49 others fell ill from E. coli, and officials believe the outbreak is linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder burgers.

Dairy company HP Hood has recalled Lactaid, a brand of lactose-free dairy milk, in 27 states due to exposure to almonds.

Calif. Lawmakers Approve Bill That Bans 6 Artificial Dyes In Foods Served By Public Schools

Walmart Issues Recall Of Apple Juice Sold In 25 States Due To Elevated Arsenic Levels

Over 9,500 cases of apple juice sold at Walmart stores across the United States are being recalled due to an elevated level of “inorganic arsenic,” the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced earlier this month.
