Female athletes and GOP AGs urge SCOTUS to protect women’s sports ahead of Tuesday’s landmark arguments

A coalition of Republican attorneys general (AGs) and prominent American female athletes gathered at the nation’s capital on Monday, issuing a formal call for the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) to intervene in the growing legal battle over gender identity and school athletics.

U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee bars transgender athletes from women’s Olympic sports

The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) is barring transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports, in line with an executive order issued by President Donald Trump.

Nevada: Schools Enact Ban On Biological Male Athletes On Female Sports Teams

The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA) voted on Tuesday to implement a gender eligibility policy that restricts transgender-identifying male athletes from participating in female sports. The regulation mandates that only individuals assigned female at birth are eligible to compete on female sports teams within the state.
