Ben & Jerry’s co-founder resigns, citing Unilever-imposed political restrictions

Jerry Greenfield, the co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s, an ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sorbet brand, has resigned from the company after 47 years — citing a loss of the brand’s “independence” to advocate for social justice issues under its parent company, Unilever.

Charter, Cox Announce Merger Agreement In Major Cable Industry Deal

Charter Communications announced on Friday that they will be purchasing Cox Communications in a massive $21.9 billion deal — bringing two of the largest U.S. cable and broadband operators together.
