Estados Unidos recorta de 679 millones de dólares en fondos federales para proyectos eólicos marinos

El Departamento de Transporte de Estados Unidos (DOT, por sus siglas en inglés) anunció el viernes que recortará alrededor de 679 millones de dólares en fondos destinados a 12 parques eólicos, calificando los proyectos de “despilfarro”. El dinero se redirigirá a la industria naval estadounidense para ayudar a garantizar el dominio marítimo del país, según el Secretario de Transporte, Sean Duffy.

DOT Secy. Duffy: U.S. states that fail to enforce English Proficiency test for commercial drivers will lose federal funding

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that U.S. states that do not comply with English Language Proficiency (ELP) test requirements for commercial drivers will face federal funding cuts. The announcement follows an August 12th incident, when an illegal alien from India caused a crash that killed 3 Americans.
