The House Judiciary Committee intends to file a lawsuit, according to Speaker Mike Johnson, in order to forcibly prompt Attorney General Merrick Garland to produce the audio recordings of President Joe Biden’s meeting with special counsel Robert Hur.

The National Transportation Safety Board said it was sanctioning Boeing for disclosing non-public details of an ongoing investigation into a 737 MAX mid-air emergency.

Julian Assange Reaches Plea Deal With U.S.

According to court filings, Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, intends to enter into a plea agreement with the U.S. Justice Department this week to admit guilt to a conspiracy charge. This will allow Assange to be released from a five-year sentence in a UK prison.

DOJ Prepares To File Lawsuit Against TikTok, Citing ‘Children’s Privacy Violations’

On behalf of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the U.S. Department of Justice is getting ready to bring a consumer protection lawsuit against ByteDance’s TikTok app later this year, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday.
