‘American hero’ Coast Guard swimmer saves 165 people from Camp Mystic during Texas floods

A U.S. Coast Guard swimmer has been labeled an “American hero” after rescuing 165 people at Camp Mystic amid the deadly flooding in central Texas.

At least 109 people have now died and at least 161 people are still missing as a result of the devastating floods in central Texas, according to the state’s governor.
