Trump admin. to stop accepting new DACA applications

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced it will no longer be accepting new DACA, applications. In a memorandum released on Tuesday, the DHS also said it would reduce renewal intervals for current DACA migrants from two years to just one and noted that it would perform a comprehensive review of the program.

Democrat mayors call to cancel DHS deployments to their cities

A group of Democrat mayors have called on the Trump administration to stop deployments of DHS agents to their cities. On Wednesday, 14 mayors sent a letter to acting DHS Chief Chad Wolf and Attorney General William Barr to express their concerns about the crackdown by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
