School Choice Debate Intensifies As November Elections Approach

School Choice is directly and indirectly on the ballot in several states in November. Proponents say school choice expands opportunities and access for disadvantaged students and improves public schools through competition.

Chicago Teachers Union Threatens To Axe Scholarship Tax Credit For Low-Income Students

Chicago students from low-income families would get the opportunity to attend private schools with help from a scholarship tax credit program.

Baltimore City Students Not Proficient in Math – But Why?

Billions are being pumped into Baltimore City’s school system, but students’ scores are still not improving. There are 13 high schools with zero students considered proficient in basic math.
