School Choice Debate Intensifies As November Elections Approach

School Choice is directly and indirectly on the ballot in several states in November. Proponents say school choice expands opportunities and access for disadvantaged students and improves public schools through competition. But the deep pockets of teachers’ unions are lobbying against the ability of families to choose charter schools and voucher programs to assist with non-public schools. To talk about this more, I’m joined by Denisha Allen, Senior Fellow at the American Federation for Children and Founder of Black Minds Matter joins Alicia Summers.
