Illinois Senator Dick Durbin, the Democrat Whip and Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has announced that he will not seek re-election in 2026.

Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador, publicly ridiculed Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen’s meeting with Kilmar Abrego Garcia via social media late on Thursday.
