Australian Counter-Terror Police detain 7 men in Sydney’s southwest following intelligence of potential violent plot

Heavily armed tactical police intercepted two vehicles on Thursday in Sydney’s southwest after receiving intelligence about a possible “violent act” being planned. Altogether, seven men were detained.

Trump: U.S. will enact ‘very serious retaliation’ against ISIS after Syrian ambush kills American soldiers

President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. will seek “very serious retaliation” for the recent murder of two U.S. service members Fand one American civilian interpreter in Syria, which was attributed to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
