Federal prosecutors release transcripts of the Brown and MIT shooter admitting to murders

The man who fatally shot two Brown University students and subsequently an MIT professor admitted to the attacks in a series of short videos recovered from an electronic device, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts on Tuesday.

Trump at House GOP retreat: ‘If Republicans don’t win the midterms, Democrats will find a reason to impeach me’

President Donald Trump told House Republicans that if the GOP fails to retain control in the upcoming 2026 midterms, Democrats will likely impeach him for a third time. Trump called on lawmakers to secure a decisive victory this November to protect his “America First” agenda by stopping Democrat overreach.

GOP Rep. Jim Baird and his wife remain hospitalized after ‘hit and run’ accident

After their vehicle was reportedly struck in a hit-and-run, Indiana Republican Rep. Jim Baird and his wife remain hospitalized on Tuesday. Their car was hit while traveling to Washington, D.C., and though both remain under medical care for the time being, his office has confirmed that a full recovery is expected.

Hilton terminates franchise agreement with Hampton Inn in Lakeville, following hotel’s refusal to house ICE and DHS personnel

Hilton has terminated its franchise agreement with the independently owned Hampton Inn in Lakeville, Minnesota, after the hotel refused to house federal immigration agents. The property has been removed from Hilton’s systems and is no longer permitted to operate under the brand name.
