A newly released report found that former President Joe Biden’s chief of staff issued the final approval for numerous preemptive pardons during Biden’s final days in office.

Biden Commutes Death Sentences For Inmates Convicted Of Heinous Crimes Just Before Christmas

President Joe Biden on Monday commuted the sentences of 37 of 40 men on federal death row, a list that includes at least five child killers and several mass murderers, just two days before Christmas.

Biden Pardons 39, Commutes 1,500 Sentences As His Term Comes To An End: ‘Largest Single-Day Act Of Clemency’

By pardoning 39 Americans convicted of crimes and commuting the sentences of nearly 1,500 others, President Joe Biden has now executed the largest act of presidential clemency in modern U.S. history in a single day.
