Russia Taking Ukraine Cease-Fire Deal ‘Seriously’ But Rejects Current Terms

Russia is taking U.S. proposals for a cease-fire agreement with Ukraine “seriously” but can’t accept the deal as it stands, a senior Russian diplomat said Tuesday, suggesting peace talks between the two countries have stalled.

Trump Threatens Sanctions On Russia, Pressures Moscow And Kyiv To Negotiate

President Donald Trump has threatened new sanctions against Russia on Friday over its ongoing war against Ukraine as he attempts to get both sides to the table and eventually reach a cease-fire deal.
