CDC Report: Brand New COVID-19 Variant May Cause Infections in Vaccinated People

In late August, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warned that the novel BA.2.86 COVID-19 virus lineage could infect individuals who have received their COVID-19 vaccinations, boosters, or even those who have contracted the virus prior.

Biden Administration To Encourage Another COVID-19 Booster

President Joe Biden’s administration is reportedly planning to encourage all Americans to get another COVID-19 booster shot this fall.

Cases Of Leprosy Spreading Throughout Central Florida, CDC Says

Cases of Leprosy have begun to spring up in central Florida, seemingly out of nowhere. A new analysis in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) journal says the disease could be endemic to the region.
