Georgia’s largest private college, Emory University, is the latest to discontinue its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs — complying with the Trump administration’s January Executive Order (EO).

Federal judge rules in favor of closing ‘Alligator Alcatraz’

A federal judge ruled the Florida immigration detention center in the Everglades, dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz,” must continue to shut down operations towards a complete closure in late October, despite objections from Florida and federal officials.
