According to data released by Monmouth University and The Washington Post on Thursday, 58% of voters in South Carolina back Trump while only 32% supported Nikki Haley (R-S.C.).

Both Trump and Haley have gained a significant amount of support since becoming the only major candidates left in the race.

Haley has a lot of ground to make up after her significant losses in both the Iowa caucus and in the New Hampshire primary.

She has vowed to stay in the running until at least Super Tuesday where 16 states and territories will cast their votes. It will take place on Tuesday, March 5th.
