Trump and Xi meet face to face in South Korea

President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping met in South Korea to discuss a range of issues including a potential agreement that could finally bring the on-again, off-again trade negotiations between the two countries to a close.

Fed cuts interest rates to lowest level in 3 years

The Federal Reserve cut its benchmark interest rate to its lowest level in three years, lowering the federal funds rate target range by 0.25 percentage point to 3.75%–4.00%.
