N.Y.: ‘Level 2’ sex offender with 16 prior arrests charged with assaulting 20-year-old NYU student

A 45-year-old homeless man with a lengthy history of sex crimes and violence against women was arrested on Tuesday after a brazen daylight assault on a 20-year-old New York University student just steps from the school’s Manhattan campus.

Capitol Christmas tree ‘Silver Belle’ lights up the West Lawn in Washington, D.C.

FBI: Nearly 1,600 pounds of meth found hidden in blackberries shipped to Georgia

FBI Atlanta, Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), and Hall County Sheriff’s Office conducted coordinated raids in the Atlanta area, seizing a total of 719 kilograms (nearly 1,600 pounds) of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $22.5 million.

Texas: Camp Mystic to partially reopen in 2026 amid lingering grief and anger over deadly flooding

Camp Mystic owners have announced plans to partially reopen for the 2026 season, operating exclusively at their separate, undamaged Cypress Lake property. The camp will offer 10-day sessions running from May 30th to August 9, 2026.
