Trump highlighted Turkey’s purchase of F-16 and F-35 fighter jets, NATO’s increased defense contributions, and ongoing concerns over Russia’s war in Ukraine.
The two leaders also addressed tensions in Gaza, the release of American hostages, and prospects for peace in the Middle East. Trump emphasized his administration’s strong ties with Turkey and reiterated that the war in Ukraine would never have started under his presidency.
