Global debt hits record of nearly $338 trillion, says IIF

The Institute of International Finance, a financial services trade group, said that global debt rose over $21 trillion in the first half of the year to $337.7 trillion.

Judge: 9/11 families can pursue lawsuit against Saudi Arabia, citing alleged involvement in aiding hijackers

Family members of 9/11 victims scored a significant victory after a federal judge ruled that Saudi Arabia could be held accountable in a civil lawsuit for its purported role in facilitating the September 11th terror attacks.
