Military Officials Say Islamic State is Losing Battle in Iraq and Syria, Displacement Camp in Need of Aid

A U.S. military official claims the Islamic State is losing the fight in Mosul and Raqqa. On Sunday, Army Colonel Ryan Dillon said the Islamic State will continue to lose ground under the pressure of U.S-backed forces. Meanwhile, displaced Syrians in a camp north of Raqqa are in desperate need of aid and medical supplies. Camp workers say a lack of food, water and electricity is making life difficult.

Thousands of Militants, Refugees Return to Syria From Lebanon

Thousands of Syrians are returning home as conflict in the Middle East continues to de-escalate. On Monday, convoys of buses transported about 9,000 militants and refugees from Lebanon into Syria. This comes as the ceasefire brokered between the U.S. and Russia continues to hold strong within the region.
