Senate Urges Army To Develop AI Neural Sensors To Track Soldiers’ Mental States

The Senate is now urging the Pentagon to build artificial intelligence (AI)-powered “wearable” neural sensors that could convey data to commanders about the physical and mental state of soldiers in the field.

U.S. Orders Additional Deployment of Jets, Warships To The Middle East

With an increase in concerning Iranian activities, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered additional F-35 and F-16 fighter jets, along with the destroyer USS Thomas Hudner, to the Middle East in a bid to monitor key waterways in the region following Iran’s seizure and harassment of commercial shipping vessels in recent months, according to the Pentagon.

U.S. drone strike takes down Islamic State leader

According to the Defense Department, an American drone attack in Syria killed an Islamic State group leader just hours after the same MQ-9 Reaper drones were harassed by Russian military planes over the western portion of the country.

China planning to land their astronauts on the moon by 2030

According to Chinese officials, China’s expanding space program plans to build its own orbiting space station and send their astronauts to the moon by 2030.
