Bill Blocking Trans Athletes In Women’s Sports Fails In Senate

A bill to ban biological males from participating in school athletic competitions designated for female athletes failed to advance Monday night, with Democrats standing united on the vote.

Texas Files Lawsuit Against NCAA Over Transgender Participation In Women’s Sports

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against the NCAA on Sunday and accused the collegiate organization of deceptive marketing practices for including transgender athletes in women’s sports.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn Leads Coalition Urging NCAA To Protect Integrity Of Women’s Sports

GOP Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn, along with a Republican-led coalition, wrote to the NCAA organization and urged NCAA president Charlie Baker to update its policies so that transgender athletes, specifically biological men who identify as transgender women, would not be allowed to compete against biological female athletes.
