Texas: Abbott calls to bring TPUSA program into all Texas high schools, threatens state intervention for non-compliance

Texas Governor Greg Abbott, alongside Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Turning Point USA (TPUSA) Director Josh Thifault, held a press conference on Monday to launch a statewide partnership aimed at establishing TPUSA “Club America” chapters in every public high school in Texas.

Texas Education Board Approves Optional Bible-Based Curriculum For Elementary Schools

Texas’ education board voted Friday to allow Bible-infused teachings in elementary schools, joining other Republican-led states that pushed this year to give religion a larger presence in public classrooms.

Civil liberties groups have filed a lawsuit against Louisiana’s new law that requires the Ten Commandments to be displayed in every public school classroom.

Louisiana Mandates Ten Commandments Display in Public Schools By 2025
