For their work on mRNA in COVID-19 vaccines, which they claim is a vital tool in halting the spread of the virus, Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissman have been given this year’s Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine.

Sweden PM: Hungary won’t delay our NATO bid

NATO to hold talks on Sweden entry before summit

Sweden and Turkey prepare for a meeting to discuss Turkey’s objections to Sweden’s membership in NATO.

Finland to become 31st member of NATO

Turkey’s parliament approved Finland’s NATO application on Thursday, making it the 31st nation in the Western defense alliance.

Hungarian Parliament approves Finland’s NATO bid

After months of delays, Finland’s NATO application has finally been approved by the Hungarian Parliament on Monday, moving the Nordic nation closer to attaining membership in the Western military alliance.
