Trial To Challenge Florida Drag Shows Law Is Scheduled For Next Spring

A new Florida Law that prevents drag show venues from admitting children to any adult performance won’t go to trial until the beginning of June 2024.

Texas Governor Defies DOJ Doubling Down On Rio Grande Floating Barriers

Biden Chooses Admiral Lisa Franchetti To Become First Woman To Lead U.S. Navy

On Friday, President Joe Biden nominated Admiral (Adm) Lisa Franchetti to be the Navy’s top officer. If confirmed, she would be the first woman to take on the role of Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) and become a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
