Poll: Big city mayors want federal help with crime

A new poll has reportedly found that mayors of major cities across the U.S. want the federal government to help fight violent crime.

Police Video: Thieves Surprised By ‘New Laws’ In Calif. That Make Shoplifting A Felony

Accused shoplifters were startled to learn that they might be slapped with a felony charge after “new laws” went into affect that crack down on low-level theft, according to police footage in California.

NY Legislators Pass $237B Budget Targeting Migrant Influx, Housing Market Boost

A $237 billion state budget that includes measures to encourage home construction and combat unauthorized marijuana stores was approved by New York lawmakers over the weekend.

Starbucks To Close 7 San Francisco Locations

Starbucks, the well-known coffee company, will be closing seven locations near the downtown San Francisco area due to the company looking to “adjust” its portfolio of stores in the city.
