New York County Passes Law Banning Mask-Wearing In Public

A New York county has passed a controversial bill banning masks in public. The law makes wearing a mask a misdemeanor, which could carry a fine of up to $1,000 or even result in a one-year jail sentence.

Iowa Law Banning Abortions After 6 Weeks Of Pregnancy Takes Effect

Iowa’s new abortion law went into effect Monday, which bans most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.

Gov. Newsom Issues Executive Order For Removal Of Homeless Encampments In California

California Governor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order on Thursday to direct state agencies on how to remove homeless encampments. This moves comes a month after the Supreme Court ruled that cities are allowed to enforce bans on people sleeping outside in public spaces.

Zelensky: Ukraine Needs More F-16 Warplanes And 25 Patriot Air Defense Systems

President Volodymyr Zelensky declared on Monday that Ukraine needs 25 Patriot air defense systems in order to defend its airspace and shield the entire nation from Russian missile attacks. He also requested that Western allies deploy even more F-16 airplanes as well.
