Supreme Court allows Trump to end migrant “parole” protections

The Supreme Court ruled on Friday that the Trump administration will be allowed to revoke the temporary legal status of hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan, Cuban, Haitian and Nicaraguan illegal migrants living in the United States.

SCOTUS: Trump can fire independent agency heads, except those at Federal Reserve

On Thursday, the Supreme Court granted a request from the Trump administration that permits the president to dismiss any members of independent federal agencies that he chooses. However, the High Court also indicated that its ruling does not extend to the Federal Reserve.
