NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Wednesday that the league will not replace Bad Bunny as its headline performer for the Super Bowl halftime show despite some criticism of the selection.

U.S. Military carries out ‘lethal kinetic strike’ on narco-trafficking drug vessel in Pacific Ocean, killing both on board

The U.S. Military carried out an airstrike on a suspected drug-smuggling vessel in the eastern Pacific Ocean off the coast of South America, according to U.S. officials. It destroyed the vessel and killed two “narco-terrorists” on board.

Report: U.S. detains survivors of suspected drug trafficking vessel in Caribbean following strike

The U.S. Military is holding survivors from a suspected drug-trafficking vessel that was struck in the Caribbean earlier this week. The detentions appear to be the first known instance in which survivors have been taken into custody after a U.S. maritime strike in the region.
