UCLA Declares New Campus Safety Office Following Violent Protests

Following campus turmoil over pro-Palestinian demonstrations, Chancellor Gene Block announced the newly established Office of Campus Safety to oversee policing and emergency management, and on Monday, UCLA will resume regular campus activities.

U.S. FAA Launches Investigation Into Boeing 787 Inspections

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that it has launched an inquiry into the Boeing 787 Dreamliner after the aircraft manufacturer claimed that certain workers engaged in “misconduct” by falsely claiming that certain testing had been completed.
