Oakland Businesses Close Down For Crime Strike

Over 200 businesses in Oakland have participated in a one-day strike in hopes the city will have more police on the street due to rising crime rates.

Oakland NAACP Seeks State Of Emergency

The NAACP Oakland chapter and religious leaders joined forces to call for a state of emergency. This push comes amid rising violent crimes in the California city.
