19 Democrat-led states sue RFK Jr.’s HHS over proposed restrictions to transgender medical treatments for minors

A coalition of 19 Democrat-led U.S. states, along with Washington, D.C., filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) over the agency’s recent declaration announcing an effort to ban “transgender medical care” for minors.

Rep. Omar defends introducing ‘MEALS Act’ during COVID-19 amid massive ongoing fraud schemes tied to Minnesota’s Somali community

Minnesota Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar asserted that she has no regrets about introducing the MEALS Act in 2020, arguing that the legislation did in fact help feed children during the COVID-19 pandemic, despite widespread fraud and arrests resulting from the pandemic era’s $250 million “Feeding Our Future” fraud scheme.

Education Secy. McMahon slams Walz’s ‘Careless lack of oversight’ leading to theft of over $12M in student grants and loans

U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon rebuked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on Tuesday, issuing a sharply worded letter that slammed his administration. In it, McMahon highlights Walz’s “careless lack of oversight,” while tying his leadership to deep failures in the state’s welfare system that allowed widespread, ongoing fraud to flourish.
