DeSantis calls Special Session to redraw Florida’s congressional maps ahead of midterms

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis officially announced and issued a proclamation on Wednesday calling for a special legislative session in April focused on congressional redistricting.

Date set for first State of the Union address of Trump’s second term

“Marking the Semiquincentennial anniversary of American Independence,” GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson formally invited President Donald Trump to deliver the State of the Union address before a joint session of Congress on February 24th.
