35 members of the House of Representatives are reportedly not seeking reelection to their seats. Of that number, nine are Democratic and 26 are Republican. One of those Republicans is congressman Mark Meadows of North Carolina’s 11th District, who has been an outspoken defender of the president. One America’s Stephanie Myers caught up with Rep. Meadow’s deputy chief of staff, Wayne King, who recently announced his candidacy in the race to to fill the seat.

Representatives Mark Meadows, Andy Biggs and Jody Hice held a rally with activists at the U.S. Capitol to criticize Democrats’ inaction on impeachment. This comes as the articles of impeachment against President Trump have yet to be released to the Senate.
