Both plans to end govt shutdown fail in Senate

Both GOP and Democrat-backed stopgap funding bills have failed to pass in the Senate, resulting in a prolonged government shutdown.

Tulsi Gabbard Confirmed As Director Of National Intelligence By Senate

Tulsi Gabbard was confirmed by the Senate on Wednesday to serve as director of national intelligence, the ex-Democrat turned Donald Trump supporter is now elevated to a cabinet-level position.

Republican Missouri Senator Josh Hawley stated that Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination for the role of director of national intelligence is at risk after revealing that some of his Republican colleagues are contemplating voting against her.
