Chevron Given 30 Days To Halt Venezuelan Oil Production, As Trump Responds To Maduro’s Inaction On Migrant Returns And Reforms

The Trump administration announced on Tuesday that Chevron has been given 30 days to stop oil production in Venezuela, since Socialist President Nicolas Maduro has not made anymore progress on electoral reforms and migrant returns.

BlackRock Acquires Panama Canal Ports Amid U.S.-China Tensions

A Hong Kong-based company has agreed to sell two terminals at either end of the Panama Canal to the U.S. asset management company BlackRock — which has been accused of securities fraud and conspiring with other investment firms to limit coal production and raise energy costs for consumers.

Trump: No Federal Funding For Schools That Permit ‘Illegal Protests,’ Agitators Face Jail

President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he will make sure to stop all federal funding for any schools that allow “illegal protests.” The 47th president also stated that agitators could be imprisoned or sent back to the country they originated from.

Trump Imposes 25% Tariffs On Canada And Mexico, Effective At Midnight

President Donald Trump announced on Monday that Canada and Mexico have “no room left” for anymore discussions in relation to avoiding a 25% tariff — officially going into effect at midnight.
