President Donald Trump hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday amid U.S. efforts to broker an end to the conflict in Gaza.

Israeli airstrike kills Houthi prime minister in Yemen’s capital

An Israeli airstrike killed the prime minister of the Houthi-controlled government in Yemen, along with other Houthi political leaders, earlier this week.

Israel set to call up tens of thousands of reservists amid new offensive in Gaza

Israel’s military has announced that it will be calling up tens of thousands of reservists as it prepares for its full-scale military occupation of Gaza.

Australia to recognize Palestinian state at UN General Assembly, joining other countries

On Monday, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced that Australia will officially recognize a Palestinian state in September, joining a growing number of foreign nations opposing Israel’s military response to the abducted hostages being held in Gaza by Hamas.
