Report: Average Age Of U.S. Homebuyers Reaches Record High Of 56

A new report suggests that the average age of an American homebuyer in the U.S. has hit a record high of 56-years-old, according to the National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) yearly state-of-the-market report released on Monday.

US Mortgage Rate Climbs to 7.16%, Could Hit 8%, Mark Not Seen Since 2000

The U.S. mortgage rate rose to the highest mark in over 20 years.  According to Mortgage Bankers Association, the 30-year mortgage rate rose to 7.16% last week, which matches the highest since 2001.
