Mamdani announces plans to speak with President Trump before taking office, calling the relationship ‘critical to the success of the city’

New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani revealed that he plans to speak with President Donald Trump before taking office in January, proclaiming his relationship with the White House is “critical to the success of the city.”

USDA: Over 40M Americans will lose SNAP benefits beginning Nov. 1

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that approximately 42 million Americans will lose their Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits beginning on November 1st due to the government shutdown.
