Judge declares D.C. police chief is still in command, while D.C. Mayor Bowser returns from Martha’s Vineyard

After Attorney General Pam Bondi appointed DEA head Terry Cole as “emergency police commissioner” of D.C., bypassing Mayor Bowser and Police Chief Smith, it prompted Bowser and D.C. Attorney General Schwalb to sue, saying the move violated the 1973 Home Rule Act.

Trump directs Commerce Department to initiate planning for new census: ‘People in our country illegally WILL NOT BE COUNTED’

President Donald Trump announced Thursday morning that he has directed the U.S. Department of Commerce to commence preparations for a new census, stressing that illegal aliens residing in the United States should be excluded from the final count.
