A new poll reveals that Republicans would like to see one of Donald Trump’s former GOP rivals as his vice presidential pick.

DeSantis And Trump Meet Privately In Miami To Discuss Campaigning: ‘Bury The Hatchet’

Following a GOP primary in which former President Donald Trump defeated Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, DeSantis met privately with Trump in Miami, Florida, on Sunday morning, according to numerous sources that briefed ABC News on the meeting.

DeSantis: ‘Florida Is Off The Board,’ Highlighting State’s Shift From Swing State To ‘GOP Stronghold’

In an interview over the weekend, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis declared that his state has changed positions from being a “swing state” to a GOP stronghold going into the 2024 presidential election.
